CAR DRIVER
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SENIOR Support Worker to provide high-quality care and assistance within a supported living environment specialising in Mental Health and Learning Disabilities
. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting client' daily needs, promoting independence, and ensuring their well-being. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people through personalised support and attentive care.
Duties
* Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, respecting their dignity and preferences
* SUPERVISE Support worker team
* Complete electronic support plans
* Support clients with mobility and daily activities to promote independence
* Implement and follow individualised care plans under supervision, ensuring all needs are met effectively
* Supervise and oversee activities to ensure safety and engagement of residents
* Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems and documentation tools
* Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure consistent and compassionate care
* Drive residents to appointments or outings as required, ensuring safe transportation
* Contribute to the organisation of activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation
* Uphold health and safety standards within the care environment at all times
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a care home or care setting is ESSENTIAL, especially supervising or leadership roles
* Valid driving licence with experience in transporting residents safely
* Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with residents, families, and colleagues
* Knowledge of care plans and ability to adapt support accordingly
* Good IT skills for maintaining accurate records and documentation
* Supervising experience is advantageous, demonstrating leadership qualities and team management skills
* Compassionate nature with a genuine interest in providing person-centred support
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a caring environment

Pay: £14.00-£14.50 per hour
