Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in assisting the brigade with the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring that food preparation and production meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Duties
* Oversee food preparation and production to ensure quality and consistency.
* Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene practices in accordance with regulations.
* Collaborate with the kitchen team to create innovative menu items that reflect current trends.
* Train and mentor all kitchen staff, fostering a positive work environment.
* Ensure that all dishes are prepared according to recipes and presentation standards.
* Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
* Participate in menu planning and development, considering seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
* Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and food production processes.
* Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of kitchen operations.
* Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
* Passion for cooking and creativity in developing new dishes.
