Business Intelligence Analyst

We're looking for a self-driven Business Intelligence Analyst to join a high impact BI team within a thriving Bristol-based SME.
This isn't a number-crunching role. You'll be a key consultant and database expert - driving performance, advising on development projects, and delivering the insights that steer critical business decisions.
As part of a small, agile team, your work will be varied. In any given week, you might be:
* Collaborating :Defining KPIs with senior managers and communicating data-driven concepts across departments
* Developing :Building internal and external reports in Power BI and SQL to help colleagues understand performance and drive change
* Analysing : Planning and executing ad-hoc analytical projects using SQL and Excel
* Consulting : Providing technical advice as the resident database expert and contributing to SQL and report reviews
Required:
* Strong proficiency in SQL and Power BI
* Advanced Excel and Power Query
* Ability to write and optimise DAX
* Solid understanding of database and data model design
Desirable:
* Python or Apache Airflow
* SSRS / Power BI Report Builder
* Experience with automation tools
