Oddfellows Hotels are independently run and passionately delivered. Named after the band of misfits that was historically the Oddfellows society, we like our team to be as individual as our hotels.
Our employees are the crux of our business. They work and play hard, go more than the extra mile for our guests and understand that the only way to be great in hospitality, is to deliver with enthusiasm and panache. We like hotel experience but ultimately, it's the individual that matters.
In return, employees are looked after really well. We reward them, train them and we let them play a creative role in the way this exciting business is developing.
We are now recruiting a Head Chef at Oddfellows on the Park.
Reporting directly into the General Manager we are looking for a brilliant Head Chef to lead the kitchen brigade at Oddfellows in Cheadle.
You'll be a pro-active leader who enjoys working within an independent business. You will combine outstanding culinary skills and a passion for fresh, seasonal British cookery with a desire to mentor and guide a team.
Responsible for the management of Health & Safety and food legislation, controlling of stock and food gross profit, overseeing the smooth running of all the food operations within the business from restaurants to events – you'll be a career-focused and driven individual - looking to make their mark on the culinary world.
You will form part of the senior management team, driving the business forward at Oddfellows on the Park, ensuring budgets and revenue are achieved whilst being a great leader inspiring our brigade.
You'll be passionate about our service and have bags of team spirit.
Events and weddings at Oddfellows are run like clockwork and delivered with style. Our restaurant serves modern British classics with an Oddfellows twist.
In return, we'll offer you a fun place to work. You'll become part of the 'odd' family and we'll invest in your training and development.
