A vacancy has arisen at Dr Friel and Bagnall Practice for a Medical Receptionist post 28 hours over 4 days (Monday Tuesday Thursday Friday 10am – 6pm) holiday / sickness cover is essential.
Duties include answering calls, processing prescriptions, handling test results, registering new patients, Mail handling and patient signposting. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, telephone manner and a positive approach to dealing with patients when under pressure these are necessary. Computer literacy and the ability to multitask are essential requirements for the role.
Experience of Emis, Docman and the medical setting would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given. A strong understanding of the importance of confidentiality is a necessity.

The practice opens 8am until 6pm Monday – Friday.
