Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated Litigation Executive to join a growing Housing Law team in Manchester. The role involves managing an active caseload of Housing Conditions claims, liaising with clients, experts, and courts, drafting legal documents, and ensuring timely and effective resolution of cases.
Responsibilities
* Provide legal advice and representation to clients facing housing disrepair issues.
* Conduct investigations into housing disrepair claims.
* Negotiate settlements with landlords and property managers.
* Handle a caseload of pre‑litigation HDR matters (depending on experience).
* Prepare and file court documents, including pleadings and affidavits.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Strong understanding of housing law and procedure.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Experience in commercial litigation or housing disrepair litigation preferred.
