Responsibilities
Reporting to the Service Team Leader, you will control the maintenance, service and repairs of material handling equipment across customer sites in your postcode area. You will manage your own work in progress, complete all relevant paperwork accurately, attend regular training courses to maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of equipment, and act as an active team player sustaining the company’s prestigious reputation.
You will work with a range of equipment – from small pallet trucks, through IC trucks, VNA trucks and automated trucks, to electric trucks. Your duties include finding, diagnosing and rectifying faults and undertaking preventative maintenance on forklifts and other material handling equipment at customer sites.
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3 qualification is essential – certificates will be required.
* Experienced staff in the following areas will be considered: FLT Engineer, Vehicle Technician, Master Technician, HGV Technicians, Agricultural Engineer, Roadside Recovery, Road Sweepers and similar.
* Technical experience in engines, electrics (diagnostics) and/or hydraulics.
* IT literate and comfortable using the latest technology.

* OTE of £45 000 in the first year.
