Salary: £45,000 Basic (Negotiable DOE), Occasional Overtime Available, Company Pension Scheme, Holiday allowance that increases with length of service, Full Product Training Provided.

We have a brand-new opening for a Service Engineer to join a well-established, reputable hire company based in Northamptonshire. Responsibilities
* Perform routine and preventative maintenance on all equipment within the yard.
* Ensure all service activities are accurately documented and meet Health & Safety standards.
* Take ownership of the quality of equipment leaving the yard, ensuring it is fit for purpose.
* Respond to breakdowns swiftly—both in the yard and on-site—diagnosing and resolving technical issues efficiently.
* When required, provide first-line technical support to internal teams and external customers.
* Oversee stock control, and advise on parts requirements.
* Support the loading/unloading and safe storage of yard equipment.
Requirements
* Ideally hold an NVQ or City & Guilds in Engineering, however time served engineers will also be strongly considered.
* Ideally have experience working on Cranes, Construction Plant, Agricultural Machinery or Forestry Equipment.
* Hold a Full UK driving license
