Key Responsibilities:
* Review and sign off on process piping installations, ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
* Conduct mechanical inspections, including dimensional checks, material verification, and pressure testing of process systems.
* Collaborate with the project engineering and construction teams to resolve mechanical quality issues.
* Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, approvals, and non-conformance reports.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on design, fabrication, and installation processes.
* Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements on site.
* Participate in internal and external audits related to mechanical quality and compliance.
Qualification:
* Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
* Proven experience in mechanical quality inspection, preferably in process piping or mechanical packages for life sciences, pharmaceutical, or industrial projects.
* Strong understanding of piping codes, standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., ASME B31.3, GMP standards).
* Experience with inspection tools, measurement devices, and documentation procedures.
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to enforce quality standards.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
* Willingness to work on-site and engage directly with construction and project teams.
