HVAC / Ventilation Project Engineer Location: Mobile Salary: £45-50k van, fuel card & benefits Type: Full-time, Permanent The Opportunity We're working with a leading technical FM provider to recruit an HVAC / Ventilation Project Engineer to join their growing projects team. This role is ideal for a Senior HVAC or Ventilation Engineer looking to step into a more project-focused position, while still maintaining a level of hands-on involvement. You'll benefit from a great mix of site-based work (approx. 75%) and office/project coordination (25%), alongside the flexibility to manage your own diary and workload. With continued business growth, there is a clear progression route into full Project Management. The Role You'll take ownership of small works projects while supporting the delivery of larger M&E projects across healthcare and other critical environments. Key responsibilities: Delivering HVAC and ventilation small works projects from survey through to completion Carrying out installation, upgrades, and fault-finding on AHUs and ventilation systems where required Planning and coordinating labour, materials, and subcontractors Supporting Project Managers on larger-scale M&E projects Ensuring compliance with industry standards and health & safety regulations Regular site attendance and client liaison What We're Looking For Strong background in HVAC and/or ventilation systems (AHUs, extract systems, etc.) Experience leading jobs or delivering small works projects Solid understanding of health & safety procedures (RAMS, permits, etc.) Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively Experience within healthcare or critical environments (desirable) Knowledge of HTM 03-01, SFG20, or CIBSE guidelines (advantageous) Relevant qualifications (HNC/HND, IOSH, etc.) beneficial but not essential Full UK driving licence What's on Offer 33 days holiday (including bank holidays) birthday off Private medical insurance (no excess) Dental & optical cashback scheme Enhanced pension & life assurance (4x salary) Employee wellbeing support & virtual GP access Career development and clear progression into Project Management Onsite gym and free parking (where applicable) Company events and recognition schemes Why Apply?
