Our Team of Consultants are subject matter experts who provide specialised technical advice, solutions, and services by bridging the gap between technology and business needs, helping clients leverage technology effectively to achieve their goals. The specific responsibilities and tasks of our Team can vary depending on the industry, company, and project.
We’re offering someone with the following skillset to join our Consulting team on a fixed term employment contract working 20hrs per week up until the end of the year (exact end date tbc).
Key Responsibilities:
* Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Symantec Data Centre Security (DCS) and / or Critical System Protection (CSP)
* Gathering regulatory and business requirements, and mapping them to DCS capabilities
* Advising on advanced detection, prevention, and mitigation strategies
* Working within a high-level policy framework, including control design and policy lifecycle management
* Low-level policy design, development, tuning, and controlled deployment (including testing and rollback)
* Agent deployment, validation, and rollback procedures
* Documenting test scenarios and cataloguing risk exceptions
* Supporting deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of policies and events
* Troubleshooting deployment and operational issues
* Supporting integration with wider security platforms and operational processes
* Providing mentoring and knowledge transfer.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience with Symantec DCS or equivalent solutions Critical System Protection / Carbon Black
* Strong knowledge of DCS best practices and technologies
* Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards
* Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
