Key Duties: Manage a varied caseload of litigated motor (RTA Claims). Draft, review, and file legal documents including pleadings, witness statements, applications, and instructions to counsel. Conduct case analysis, liability assessment, and quantum evaluation to support litigation strategy. Provide clear, accurate legal advice to clients, insurers, and internal stakeholders. Negotiate settlements proactively and commercially, ensuring cost-effective outcomes. Prepare cases for trial, including evidence collation, disclosure, and liaising with counsel. Ensure all work complies with SRA standards, internal policies, and client SLAs. Maintain accurate file management, time recording, and MI updates. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the litigation team. Build strong working relationships with clients, opponents, and colleagues across the business. Experience and Skills required: This role is suitable for experienced legal advisors with significant knowledge of RTA claims handling and the full litigation process. A solid working knowledge of the CPR, legislation and relevant case law. Competent working with a case management system and good knowledge of MS Office. Good attention to detail and organisational skills. Focus on delivering quality service to clients and the firm.
