Job Title: Accounts Assistant – Purchase Ledger (Accounts Payable)
Location: Inverness – hybrid working offered after a 3-month satisfactory induction period

Salary: £27,888 FTE
Job Type: Permanent, 18 hours/week (worked over a minimum of 3 days)

Key Responsibilities:
Based within the Finance Department of Meallmore Ltd, the key duties will include:

7. Processing a high volume of invoices for several care homes
8. Ensuring that invoices are coded correctly and authorised in line with company procedure
9. Reconciling payments to bank statements
10. Producing a monthly Suggested Payments List and corresponding BACS Report
11. Checking supplier statements and dealing with supplier queries in a timely manner
12. Checking and processing preloaded cash cards for several care homes

Skills and Qualifications:

13. Proficient in data entry and good attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
14. Proficiency in accounting software and basic Microsoft Excel skills
15. Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
16. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively within a team and with various stakeholders.
