Our current head office is located in Moreton-in-Marsh, we will be relocating to Pembroke House, Banbury Business Park in January 2026. In the interim, we will cover travel expenses for employees based in the Banbury area.

We are excited to announce an opportunity to join our Marketing Team as an Events Manager. In this role you will be required to successfully deliver the FPA's internal and external events programme, in person and through digital platforms, to communicate the FPA's core messages and generate leads for its service offerings.

Line Manager - Head of Marketing
Key Responsibilities
· Lead the FPA's attendance at external tradeshows, networking events, and industry award ceremonies
· Lead the planning and delivery of internal conferences and seminars including the creation of a topical programme of content and identification of a suitable venue and contributors
· Regularly research and monitor external events for the FPA to consider attending
· Stay abreast of events being delivered by other relevant organisations
· Lead the FPA's public annual webinar programme in line with the Marketing strategy
· Work with the wider Marketing team to produce and review promotional copy for all event types
· Maintain and annual calendar of events for internal monitoring and external sharing
· Ensure the completion of internal and external documentation requirements e.g. contracts, Service Level Agreements, contra agreements, risk assessments, insurance requirements etc.
· Manage and report on the Events Budget
· Work with the Commercial Sales team to generate sponsorship for internal events
· Evaluate event satisfaction and financial performance, identifying improvements for future events

Key Education and experience
Essential
· Demonstrable experience in organising and delivering in-person and online events
· Strong awareness of health and safety measures relating to events including risk assessments
· IOSH Managing Safely or willingness to work towards
· Experience using online webinar platforms
· Intermediate level of IT skills including Microsoft Office suite
Desirable
· Project management qualification
· Experience in drafting conference programmes
· Experience of managing events where the subject matter is of a technical nature
· Knowledge of the fire safety/construction sector
· Line management experience
