Everyone who works at Lidl brings something unique to the table – we’re hard‑working, focused and reliable. As a Warehouse Operative (Recycling) you’ll help keep our warehouses running smoothly, ensuring recyclables are processed quickly and efficiently from card and plastic to food waste.
What you’ll do
* Check vehicles into the recycling area
* Process card, plastic, and food waste efficiently
* Work with contractors and colleagues to keep collections on track
* Update our Warehouse Management System (WMS) with pallet counts and report issues
* Use machinery safely to move pallets and complete tasks
* Support driver debriefs and check the outbound lanes to ensure pallets are in the right place every time
* Help warehouse operations and keep standards high with a clean‑as‑you‑go approach
What you’ll need
* Experience in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment
* Willingness to work with all types of stock, whether indoors, outdoors or in chilled areas
* Ability to work independently, taking responsibility for your tasks
* Good attention to detail, even when working quickly
* A can‑do attitude and pride in doing a great job
