Trainee Service Engineer / Field Service Engineer / Junior Service Engineerrequired to join a leading provider of industrial / automated packaging machinery and solutions.
The Successful Service Engineer / Field Service Engineer / Junior Service Engineer will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service, fault finding and maintenance on packaging machinery / solutions at customer sites across the UK. Full product training provided.
The Service Engineer / Field Service Engineer / Junior Service Engineer will ideally have hands-on experience or knowledge in electrical and/or mechanical engineering. Preference will be given to candidates with familiarity in electromechanical servicing, fault finding and systems troubleshooting or a Mechanical or electrical qualification, apprentice trained, NVQ level 3, city & guilds, HNC, HND or similar.
Package
£30,000 - £32,000 basic depending on experience
Salary rising up to £45k once experience gained.

Trainee Service Engineer / Field Service Engineer / Junior Service Engineer Role
To provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance of automated packaging machinery / solutions equipment at customer sites.
Installing automated packaging machinery into all forms of the manufacturing industry.
Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on various packaging machinery / solutions.
Liaise with various engineering departments.
Working at customer sites throughout the UK.
Trainee Service Engineer / Field Service Engineer / Junior Service Engineer Requirements
Willingness to learn complicated electrical / mechanical engineering systems.
Experience as a Trainee Service Engineer, Apprentice Engineer, Apprentice Technician, Graduate Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Marine Engineer, Entry level Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Field Service Engineer or similar is advantageous.
Mechanical or electrical qualification, apprentice trained, NVQ level 3, city & guilds, HNC, HND or similar would be a plus.
Hands-on experience in electrical and/or mechanical domainswith a willingness to learn is desired though not a necessity.
Determination to learn the industrial automation / packaging / robotics industry and related fields with enthusiasm for career progression opportunities.
Flexibility to travel across the UK with regular customer site visits.
