Jobstore UK are seeking an enthusiastic and sales hungry Business Development Manager to expand our client’s footprint in the industrial and logistics sectors. We are looking for someone who can identify high-value prospects, and grow relationships with UK, European and national accounts in warehousing, retail, and logistics through direct sales, face-to-face and online meetings. This role blends new business acquisition with strong account management to help customers achieve cost reductions through technology-led solutions.
Key responsibilities
* Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities in target markets such as logistics providers, distribution centres, and industrial users.
* Work to a sales process, engaging multiple decision-makers across operations, engineering, procurement, and sustainability teams.
* Map target accounts, understand operational pain points, KPIs, and investment priorities.
* Put together tailored proposals that demonstrate ROI through productivity gains, cost reduction, and asset longevity.
* Act as the lead contact for high-value strategic accounts, ensuring their operational needs are met and exceeded.
Qualifications and experience
* A proven successful background in B2B business development and key account management within industrial technology, logistics, or manufacturing environments.
* Experience selling technical, data-driven, or operational solutions with measurable ROI is advantageous.
* Full driver’s licence and passport for international travel are required.
