Join our team and play a key role in delivering excellence and innovation in Hard FM and Technical Facilities Services.
As a Mechanical Engineer, You'll
* Provide leadership and technical support to ensure operational continuity and excellence within the mechanical engineering team.
* Contribute technical expertise during emergency escalations, including out-of-hours critical incident response.
* Uphold the highest engineering and safety standards, ensuring compliance with all safety procedures and legal requirements.
* Manage and complete mechanical work orders timely, maintaining client equipment reliability and meeting contractual obligations.
* Foster strong professional relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams while supporting staff development.
* Maintain professional competencies, report on work order status, and ensure adherence to Sodexo’s global engineering standards.
What We're Looking For
* Technical competence with NVQ Mechanical systems level 3 or equivalent qualifications.
* Appropriate experience - 5 years
* Practical technical skills and current working knowledge of engineering standards and best practice.
* Practical experience of working independently in a technical maintenance environment
* Practical experience of working to health and safety standards
* IT literate with experience of using Microsoft Office applications and Computerised Maintenance Management Systems
* Ability to self-manage and self-plan workload to meet set deadlines.
