Role Purpose
The People Business Partner will act as a strategic and operational partner to leaders across one of London’s leading estate and lettings agencies.
Supporting a fast-paced, high-performing property business, this role will partner with senior stakeholders across our London branch network to drive performance, engagement and organisational effectiveness.
The People Business Partner will work closely with leaders to embed a high-performance culture, providing expert guidance across employee relations, organisational design, leadership capability and workforce planning.
This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract maternity cover.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business Partnering
* Partner with senior leaders and regional management teams across the business.
* Provide expert advice on organisational design, workforce planning and team performance.
* Support leaders in driving a high-performance culture aligned to commercial objectives.
* Act as a trusted advisor, balancing business needs with people considerations.
Employee Relations & Case Management
* Lead and manage complex employee relations cases across the business.
* Provide guidance to managers on performance, conduct, absence and capability.
* Ensure fair, consistent and legally compliant outcomes in line with UK employment law.
Performance & Leadership Capability
* Support the development of high-performing teams and leaders.
* Coach managers to build confidence and capability in people management.
* Embed performance management practices that drive accountability and results.
Change & Transformation
* Support organisational change, restructures and transformation initiatives.
* Guide leaders through change with clear communication and structured approaches.
* Ensure change activity is delivered in line with legal and organisational requirements.
Collaboration with People Teams
* Partner with People Operations to ensure smooth delivery of HR processes and strong data integrity within Zellis ResourceLink.
* Work with Talent Acquisition to support hiring and workforce planning.
* Contribute to the development of People policies and frameworks across the Group.
Data & Insight
* Use people data to inform decision making and improve business performance.
* Monitor trends in attrition, absence, engagement and performance.
* Provide insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Mergers, Acquisitions & Integration
* Support the people aspects of acquisitions impacting the the business.
* Provide HR guidance during employee transfers under TUPE
* Work closely with the wider People team to ensure smooth integration of new employees into the business.
Experience & Skills
Essential
* Proven experience (3-4 years) as an People Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor
* Strong employee relations experience, including complex case management
* Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-site environment
* Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
* Commercial mindset with the ability to link people strategy to business performance
* Strong understanding of UK employment law, including

* Experience supporting acquisitions or organisational integration
