About the Role
We are looking for a SEN Classroom Support Assistant to work closely with teachers and support staff in delivering high-quality support to pupils with additional educational needs. The role is crucial in helping children access the curriculum, build confidence, and achieve their potential.
Responsibilities
* Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils with SEN.
* Assist with classroom activities and learning tasks, adapting resources where needed.
* Support pupils with personal care when required.
* Monitor and record pupil progress, reporting to teachers.
* Collaborate with teachers, SENCo, and other staff to implement individual education plans.
* Promote a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment.
Qualifications
* Experience supporting pupils with special educational needs.
* Knowledge of SEN strategies and classroom support techniques.
* Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
* Awareness of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
