The Front of House Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front-of-house area within our establishment. Duties
* Supervise and coordinate daily front-of-house operations to ensure efficient service delivery.
* Train, mentor, and manage team members, fostering a positive work environment.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
* Assist in food preparation and cooking as needed, ensuring quality and presentation meet our standards.
* Manage customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication between front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
* Maintain inventory levels for front-of-house supplies and assist in ordering when necessary.
* Uphold the establishment's policies and procedures while promoting a culture of teamwork.
Skills
* Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
* Strong team management skills with the ability to lead by example.
* Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and staff.
* Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high levels of service.
* Background in hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous.
* Barista experience is a plus for establishments serving coffee or specialty beverages.
