Teaching Assistant (Classroom) plus Breakfast Club Contact Term: P ermanent Hours: 21:40 per week TTO plus 5 TED days AM 12.05 per week TTO plus 5 TED days PM with SEN allowance The Governors and staff of our large church school are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Teaching Assistant to work in one of our classes during the morning and over the lunchtime period. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new direction for the school. The role will be term time only: 21 hours 40 minutes (8.40am – 1.00pm) per week. There is also an opportunity for the post holder to work in our breakfast club from 07:40 or 08:00 to 08:40 Monday to Friday, term time only. We have both permanent and temporary (maternity leave cover) vacancies available. The successful candidate will: Have experience of supporting children within the primary age range/school setting Have experience/interest in working with children with specific and/or complex needs Have high expectations for our children’s progress and overall achievement Take an imaginative and creative approach to curriculum learning that captures the children’s interest Be flexible, forward thinking, innovative and highly energetic Has an understanding of how children learn, including social/emotional development. Have a passion for quality teaching and learning, enabling the best outcomes for our children.
