Location: Aylesford, Kent - site based
Contract: Permanent, Fulltime
Salary: £42,383 per annum + Benefits
Responsibilities
As a Planner, you will be responsible for planning and programming all works delivered by Kier Maintenance and Operations workforce, including cyclical maintenance, DNP repairs, scheme delivery ensuring timely completion and management of reactive and pro-active defects.
Your day to day will include:
* Programming, management, and delivery of routine and severe weather services.
* Monitor progress of site works including completion and submission of daily report sheets.
* Daily resource allocation and liaising with National Highway Road space team to book required Traffic Management (TM) for maintenance, Defects, Damage to Network Property (DNP), and scheme delivery.
* Create briefing packs to be delivered to the workforce to allow the safe expedition of works.
* Assist in emergency response, organise remedial repairs, co-ordinate with the HUB after evaluating traffic flows to restore the highway back to normal running.
What are we looking for?
This role of Planner is great if you have:
* Holder of a clean UK driving licence.
* Computer literate, particularly proficient in the use and application of Microsoft Excel, Outlook and navigation of the local electronic management system and intranet (ECM and IMS).
* Asset Management Awareness - operational level required.
