Job Specification To assist in the smooth running of the depot and undertake work duties instructed by the centre manager Maintain the highest levels of health and safety practice including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment where applicable Day to day assistance of the trade counter: Maintaining sufficient stock levels as per depot stock list. Ensuring the depot is kept clean and tidy inside and outside. Liaising with customers and colleagues in a professional manner To provide assistance to centre staff within the franchise when requested Good personal presentation and adherence to Pirtek policies and procedures Skills and Competencies Effectively communicate technical information to engineering personnel Successful completion of the Pirtek Induction and Training programmes (based in Birmingham) and subsequent on-site assessments as requested by management.
Work Experience
GCSE in English and Maths Progression Our view of this role is to start a career path within Pirtek. The progress will be determined by the application of the individual and rely on a few factors to progress when ready to a mobile service technician position.
Obtain sufficient technical knowledge and understanding of fluid power operations via the exposure to a varied customer base over a sustained period of time
Successful completion of a residential training course in the midlands accredited to city and guilds standard
Full UK driving licence Some individuals stay in this role their whole career, some progress further either to senior engineer / specialist engineer or into management within the organisation.
