Promote and uphold safeguarding, equality, and health and safety policies. What we're looking for You'll need: A relevant subject qualification (e.g. degree or equivalent). A recognised teaching qualification. Level 2 English and Maths (e.g. GCSE grade C/4 or equivalent). The ability to plan and deliver effective, inclusive teaching for diverse learners. Knowledge of subject-specific pedagogy and current teaching practices in further or higher education. Clear communication and strong organisational skills. Confidence using digital tools to support learning. A commitment to safeguarding, equality, and ongoing professional development. Subject-Specific Details Newcastle College's Automotive Academy requires a dedicated, enthusiastic, and qualified person to take on the role of Motor Vehicle Lecturer. This role's primary responsibilities include delivering and assessing high-quality learning programmes in Automotive across various levels of further education, and apprenticeship provision, as well as undertaking a range of programme leadership, and programme administration duties. This post requires a strong background in vehicle maintenance. The candidate must have a proven track record of professional/vocational expertise in the vehicle maintenance sector and be able to demonstrate their practical skills as well as theoretical knowledge.
