Job ref: PRM230326 Job type: Permanent Location: Newry Closing date: Wednesday 08 Apr 2026 09:00 Job Overview The Production Manager is responsible for managing a dedicated Manufacturing Suite with focus on Sterile Manufacturing/fill finish, and a team producing veterinary pharmaceutical products to the highest standards for distribution globally. You will drive performance and embed a continuous improvement culture to deliver Customer orders on time. Adherence with our Quality Management System and Environmental Health & Safety system are critical within the manufacturing environment. Reporting to the Site Manufacturing Lead, you will ensure products are manufactured compliantly and aligned with regulatory authority standards globally. Essential Criteria: A degree or third level qualification in Pharmacy, Science, Engineering or Mathematics (or a closely related area) OR at least five years' experience in a Manufacturing/Packaging environment. Previous experience in managing teams on shift rotas. Experience and understanding of manufacturing processes, regulatory, quality and validation requirements. Ability to motivate and train team members. Experience of control of cross contamination. Experience of documentation associated with a Quality Management System. Excellent IT skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) Ability to maintain compliant & safe working environment, delivering highl quality products in line with regulatory standards. Ability to successfully implement change. Desirable Criteria: Experience in a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing/Packaging environment. Experience in oral dose manufacturing, Sterile Injectables or other Pharmaceutical dosage formats.
