Join Our Repairs & Maintenance Team in Whitby – Bricklayer (Multi-Skilled Welcome)

We’re currently looking for a skilled Bricklayer to join our dedicated Repairs and Maintenance team in Whitby. If bricklaying is your core trade and you also bring experience in roofing, plastering, or groundworks (paving/fencing) we’d love to hear from you!

We value multi-skilled professionals who can adapt across trades, but we also welcome those with a strong foundation in bricklaying who are keen to contribute their wider expertise.


What You’ll Be Doing
As a key member of our team, you’ll carry out a variety of internal and external repairs, maintenance, and installations. We operate with a “right first time” ethos, and you’ll play a vital role in upholding our high standards in safety, quality, and customer service.
Your tasks may include:
• Internal and external brick repairs
• Installation of lintels and groundworks
• Basic plastering, roofing repairs, and joinery
• Tiling, pointing, paving, drainage, concrete paths, and soakaways
You may also support the development of others by mentoring apprentices, volunteers, or work experience placements.


What We’re Looking For
• Proven experience in bricklaying and building maintenance
• NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying or equivalent trade experience
• Familiarity with relevant legislation and best practices
• A full UK driving licence (reasonable adjustments considered)
