What you will do:
* Manage a caseload within a framework of appropriate reflective supervision
* Undertake focused, analytical assessments, SMART plans, and reviews to safeguard children
* Demonstrate and model good practices with a commitment to relationship- and strengths-based practice
* Work collaboratively with children, young people, and their families
* Use a variety of techniques to understand the lived experiences, wishes, and feelings of children
* Consistently apply the Signs of Safety practice model in assessments and interventions
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with Data Protection legislation (GDPR)
* Prepare clear, structured, and concise reports for various meetings and proceedings
Requirements:
To thrive in this role, you must be a registered Social Worker with Social Work England and hold UK Qualifications. A minimum of 3 years of post-qualifying experience in a permanent post within a Local Authority is essential. You'll need a full UK driving license with access to a vehicle for which business cover including carrying passengers is included.
