Overview
Health Care Support Worker - Medicine role at NHS Scotland. This is a permanent post with a shift pattern working over Monday to Sunday on dayshift/nightshift rotational to support ward. NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within Medical services at the QEUH for a highly motivated Health Care Support Worker to ensure that high quality, safe, effective, person-centred care in our Acute General Medicine ward.
You must be able to demonstrate a commitment to patient-centred care, continuing professional development, an understanding of our service, and the specific needs of our patients (or a commitment to learn and develop these skills).
You will demonstrate flexibility, and a willingness to participate in service progression and growth. The ability to work effectively in a team is essential.
