Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused IT Technician to join our in-house IT team. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for technology who enjoys problem-solving and delivering excellent customer service. You will be the first point of contact for IT-related issues, providing support to end-users via phone, email, and face-to-face. As well as managing IT hardware and setting up new user accounts within Office 365. This role will collaborate with Camps International and other brands within the Impact Travel Group.
Key Responsibilities
Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
Respond to user queries via email, phone, or instant messaging in a timely manner.
Areas of responsibility include:
* First point of contact for resolving day to day IT issues
* Office 365 account setup
* Installing and maintaining workstations, laptops and servers
* Permission/access
* Maintaining Exchange Email accounts and Office 365
* Liaising with departments to guide them on system usage and helping them implement IT solutions to aid their roles
* Support and maintain head office printers
* Maintain and monitor system backups
* Support of Mobile phones
* Software provisioning
* Manage and solve problems
* Escalate complex issues when necessary.
* Assist with the setup and configuration of PCs, laptops, and mobile devices.
* Support staff with Microsoft 365, Windows, Mac, and common business applications including the company CRM.
* Maintain accurate documentation of solutions and user guides.
* Provide basic training to staff on IT systems and security best practices.
Key Skills & Experience
Minimum of 3 years' experience in the IT industry.
Experience of working with Microsoft 365.
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional approach.
Basic knowledge of Windows 10/11, macOS, Microsoft 365, and common IT applications. Understanding of networking basics (e.g., IP addresses and Wi-Fi).
Ability to troubleshoot hardware issues (e.g., desktops, laptops, printers and displays).
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. A good level of English, spelling and grammar.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications (Desirable but Not Essential)
Experience working with Active Directory or Microsoft 365 Admin Centre.
Education & Experience
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in the IT industry
* Previous experience in a Microsoft 365, Azure as well as networking and servers.
* College diploma, IT apprenticeship, or relevant certifications preferred.
