As a Venue Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in bringing smiles to our guests' faces. You’ll be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing exceptional breakfast and dinner experiences in our self-service restaurants throughout their holiday.
Your enthusiasm for developing people and delivering outstanding guest experiences will shine as you nurture, train, and coach your team in a fun-filled environment. Reporting to the Senior Manager, you’ll thrive in a bustling atmosphere, driving your team to maintain high levels of hygiene and cleanliness. Your commitment to consistent brand standards will ensure that our guests always come first, while you operate efficiently in all aspects of your role.
In this role, you’ll also analyze KPIs, facilitate team training, and adhere to food safety and health & safety policies. Your passion for leading by example will inspire your team to create delightful experiences for our guests.
At Butlin’s, no two days are the same! You’ll need to think on your feet, dive into the action, and keep guest satisfaction as your top priority. Typical working hours cover 40 hours per week, across 5 days out of 7, with shifts ranging from 7am to 9pm, including weekends, bank holidays, and Christmas.
About You
We’re looking for someone with prior experience in a volume catering and/or food environment, where speed and quality go hand in hand. Strong guest-facing experience is essential, as you’ll be handling a variety of queries and sometimes complaints directly.
Your passion for leading and developing a team will shine through as you support your colleagues with regular 1:1s and coaching sessions. Delivering an amazing experience to our guests is your top priority, and you’ll always be on the lookout for ways to enhance this.
Experience in managing rotas based on fluctuating guest volumes is a must, along with the ability to work with a multi-skilled team to meet guest demands. You should be adept at leading teams to success, managing performance, coaching, delivering training, setting standards, and providing constructive feedback. Your problem-solving skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities will help you adapt quickly to changing requirements.
