The Role
We are seeking a motivated Family Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer to join our growing Family Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual looking to develop their career within a respected regional firm, with clear progression to supervisory and Head of Department level.
You will manage a varied caseload including:

Private law children matters
*
Injunctions (non-civil)
*
PLO and Care Proceedings
*
Legal aid and privately funded work
You will be responsible for all aspects of client care, case progression and financial management of your matters, supported by experienced administrative staff within a small, friendly team.
Key Responsibilities

Manage a mixed family law caseload with minimal supervision
*
Provide high-quality client care and maintain strong client relationships
*
Ensure matters progress efficiently and in line with firm standards
*
Maintain accurate financial and file management
*
Support business development and networking initiatives
*
Contribute to the continued growth and reputation of the department
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic individual with strong attention to detail and a genuine commitment to family law.
Essential:
*
Qualified Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer
*
Strong organisational and client care skills
*
Ability to manage your own caseload effectively
*
Commercial awareness and commitment to business development
*
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Desirable:
*
3+ years PQE (guideline only — all suitable candidates considered)
*
Experience in care proceedings and legal aid work
*
Panel membership (or willingness to obtain)
*
Legal Aid Supervisor status or ambition to achieve this
*
Interest in progressing to supervisory/HoD level
We are a Resolution-accredited Family team and the successful candidate will be required to join Resolution and adhere to its Code of Conduct.
