Salary: £35,535.15 - £38,604.51 per year

Hours: 35 hours per week

Job Summary

We may conduct our interviews in person or using Microsoft Teams for video calling. All you need is a device with a camera and access to the internet. We will provide guidance and instructions on how to use this method if your interview is being held virtually.

If you have a keen interest in safeguarding public resources and have a strong investigative background, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to public service, we want to hear from you. This post is based within the Corporate Fraud Team and services both North and East Ayrshire Councils. Reporting to the Team Manager - Corporate Fraud, you will play a key role in preventing, detecting, and investigating fraud across a wide range of council services. The base location for the post is Cunningham House, Irvine; however, the post is suitable for a mix of home and office based working.

Our Workstyles

Agile – 100% of time spent working agile (flexibly) and interacting with others. Able to work at home, in the office, or multiple locations. May be required to attend the office on set days/rota basis as the role requires.
