Are you a driven Conveyancing Legal Assistant with a minimum of 1 years’ experience in the legal sector, looking for a new challenge with a prestigious Legal 500 firm?

A solid understanding of the conveyancing process is essential, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks and excel in a fast-paced environment.

What will be expected from you?

* Handling inquiries from clients, solicitors, lenders, and estate agents.
* Providing clients with updates and tracking the progress of matters
* Opening and closing files within the case management system.
* Ensuring compliance with AML, quality standards, and SRA and CQS regulations.
* Performing general administrative duties.
* Preparing and submitting client quotes and drafting completion statements.
* Reviewing mortgage offers and drafting reports under supervision.
* Conducting online searches
* Familiarity with leasehold transactions
* Ability to prepare apportionment statements for leasehold properties.
* Reviewing and reporting on searches with guidance
* Progressing towards checking freehold titles and raising inquiries with supervision
* Using the Land Registry portal to submit registrations, respond to requisitions, and order official copies, leases, and title plans
* Calculating Stamp Duty Land Tax and submitting applications.
* Preparing and submitting invoices, receipts, and payments to the finance department.
* Providing occasional reception coverage



Is this the position for you?

* A solid understanding of the daily functions of a legal office
* Strong computer skills, particularly in Word, Excel, and Outlook
* Familiarity with case management software
* Proficiency in English language
* Keen attention to detail
