Job Description
The Scottish Qualifications Authority is Scotland's national awarding and accreditation body. We are trusted to oversee thousands of qualifications that are available in schools, colleges and workplaces, not just in this country, but around the world.
We are looking for two Events Management Administrators to work within the Operations directorate in our Logistics & Customer Engagement team.
The successful candidates will be required to provide high quality customer service and administrative support to enable the effective delivery of SQA events. In order to do this, you must be able to demonstrate experience in the following specific duties:
Providing administrative support to ensure activities are carried out accurately.
Booking travel and accommodation for appointees attending events.
Booking meetings and events across a variety of locations.
Providing a high level of customer service in respect to queries ensuring responses are issued promptly, accurately and following SQA guidelines while maintaining key stakeholder relationships.
Creating and maintaining records, standard reports and spreadsheets to ensure information is up-to-date, easy to access and accurate.
Contributing to the organisation's continuous improvement initiatives by reviewing and recommending improvements to administrative procedures and systems.
Applicants, as a minimum, should be educated to SCQF Level 6 (Higher/SVQ3) and/or be able to demonstrate direct relevant experience for this role. They should also have MS software knowledge (Word, Excel, Project and Visio) and good verbal and written communication skills.
