Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Office Manager. As the Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our office and ensuring smooth functioning of administrative tasks. This is a key role that requires strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a team.
Duties:
– Supervise and manage office staff, including assigning tasks, providing guidance, and conducting performance evaluations
– Maintain office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, layouts, and equipment procurement
– Handle phone calls and correspondence with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette
– Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and vendors
– Assist with human resources functions such as recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations
– Organize and maintain office files, records, and databases
– Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as needed
– Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for executives
– Perform general clerical duties such as data entry, filing, scanning, and photocopying
– Utilize QuickBooks or similar software for bookkeeping tasks
Requirements:
– Proven experience in team management or supervisory role
– Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills (both written and verbal)
– Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
– Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
– Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is preferred
– Previous experience in an office or administrative role is required
