About The Role
As an Operational Trainer you will be responsible for identifying, designing and delivering training solutions for the business operations. This will be conducted through identifying technical & non-technical training needs, creating engaging content, facilitating training sessions, and implementing solutions that align with our business objectives & strategic plan
You will support across operational training needs, Technical & Products, encompassing Induction, Onboarding and continuous development of people capability. From time to time, you will be required to support broader business development programmes/projects through design and delivery. As a member of the Talent & OD sub-function you will also contribute to broader L&D and HR initiatives and projects through key stakeholder engagement aimed at supporting strategic business requirements.
What will you do on a normal day?
Training Needs Analysis:
Conduct thorough assessments to identify functional and individual training needs, aligned to specific learning objectives or strategic business goals.
Content development:
Ensure operational delivery of relevant training programs by designing, developing & maintaining a range of blended training interventions in line with the demands of the business. Utilising instructional design principles and adult learning theories to create engaging and effective learning experiences including e-learning, presentation & instructor-led materials
Delivery / Facilitation:
Lead / facilitate training sessions and workshops, both in-person and virtually.
Foster an interactive and participatory learning environment that encourages engagement, knowledge retention and application.
Solution Focussed & Implementation:
Recommend and implement learning solutions tailored to address identified needs and enhance employee performance.
Evaluate the effectiveness of all training programmes through a range of recognised evaluation metrics with the ability to adjust content or delivery methods as a result.
HR project support:
Contribute to broader L&D and HR initiatives and projects aimed at supporting strategic business requirements and ensure the upkeep, training administration and governance such as training records, planner, evaluation, Learner Management System (LMS) are kept updated
Stakeholder engagement:
Build and maintain a network of senior internal and external stakeholders / partners to understand their training needs and gain support for onboarding and technical training initiatives.

Desirable
* Learning / Training qualification – CIPD or equivalent
* Experience from manufacturing, logistics or retail environment
