Shop Supervisor
Location: 40 Thornhill Park Road, Southampton, SO18 5TQ
Hours: 15 Hours per week including weekends on rota
Pay: £12.79 per hour plus rewards and benefits
Responsibilities
* Use retail experience to help drive business, push sales, and achieve targets.
* Lead a team to deliver great customer service to donors and customers.
* Work with the local community to generate sufficient donated stock to drive sales.
* Recruit, train and retain a volunteer team, providing leadership and guidance.
* Maintain high standards of merchandising and housekeeping, with health and safety as a priority.
* Manage effective stock processes to keep shop well merchandised with fresh, seasonal stock.
* Act as a brand ambassador for Sue Ryder, supporting in-store campaigns and national fundraising initiatives.
* Operate the Epos system effectively.
Minimum Essential Criteria
* Customer Service Experience
* Previous supervisory Experience
* Cash Handling/Till work
* Basic IT skills (emails, instant messaging, video calls)
* Organisational Skills
* Lone working experience
Desirable Criteria
* High street retail / leisure / hospitality background
* Experience with KPIs and targets
* Charity retail experience
* Health & Safety knowledge
* Team Player
* Key holder / opening / closing responsibilities
* Merchandising and stock rotation experience
