Job Description for Area Sales Representative
Glasdon UK Limited, part of the Glasdon Group, is a market leader in environmental and safety products, operating across Europe and the United States. We are seeking a charismatic Area Sales Representative for our Environmental Products Division.
Role Overview:
This role involves selling a diverse range of products including waste management, street furniture, safety products, and seating to key clients such as Local Authorities, Councils, Government Departments, Universities, Colleges, Hospitals, and various commercial sectors.
Responsibilities:
* Visit customers to demonstrate and promote our products.
* Plan and manage a large geographical territory.
* Identify and develop new business opportunities.
* Follow up on leads and maintain customer relationships.
* Analyze sales data to identify market trends and opportunities.
* Participate in sales meetings and collaborate with the product design team.
* Represent the company at trade shows and exhibitions.
Candidate Profile:
* Experience in sales, account management, or business development.
* Proficiency in online and face-to-face selling techniques.
* Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills.
* Self-motivated with a goal-oriented mindset.
* IT literacy and a full UK driving license.
* Educational qualification to A-Levels or higher is desirable.
