If you love building relationships, keeping clients happy, and growing accounts (without sounding like a robot in the process), this could be the role for you! At TwentyCi, our clients are people-first businesses, and we mirror that with a down-to-earth personal approach. We’re looking for an Account Manager to join our SME Data Sales team, working across MoverAlerts (Removals & Self Storage clients) and BuyerAlerts (SME retailers). What You'll Be Doing Managing and growing a portfolio of around 200 SME clients, as part of a team overseeing approx 400 active account across our MoverAlerts and BuyerAlerts products. Onboarding new clients and making sure they get the most out of our data solutions. Spotting opportunities for upsells and cross-sales without being pushy. Reducing churn – keeping our clients engaged, happy, and renewing their contracts. Handling client queries and ensuring any issues are swiftly sorted. Attending industry events, exhibitions, and conferences and client meetings to build and grow relationships. Working closely with our sales, marketing, and product teams to provide customer insights and improve our offering. Keeping track of client health metrics and proactively reaching out to accounts that need attention. Who Are You? You'll have these attributes: 2 years of account management or customer-facing experience, ideally in a sales-focused role. A natural relationship-builder who can chat comfortably with everyone from small business owners to senior stakeholders. Someone proactive and organised – juggling multiple client accounts doesn’t faze you. A problem-solver who thinks on their feet and handles client concerns with a solutions-based mindset. A solid communicator – whether it’s via email, phone, or in-person at events. Experience with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and CRM tools (HubSpot knowledge is a bonus). An interest in the UK property or data sectors is a nice-to-have but not essential. What's In It For You? We have a pool table in the office, but that's not really what you're looking for, right? Yes, you'll get holidays (25 days plus bank holidays), plus your birthday off, and a pleasant office environment with a nice breakout area, tea/coffee/water provided, and all that normal stuff you'd expect. There's a salary, naturally, between £30,000 and £35,000 for this role depending on the skills and experience you'll be bringing. For this position there’s also an uncapped commission scheme with achievable OTE of £11K. You also get to work with a good-natured, good humoured team of geeks, nerds, data scientists, marketers, administrators, finance people, sales people and people-people. There's a life outside of work and we encourage you to make sure you achieve the right balance between the two things. We've also taken the time and effort to implement wellbeing stuff, like a confidential 24/7/365 helpline for all our colleagues to get advice and support when life gets a bit tough, and an app with helpful wellbeing content. We work on a hybrid system balancing time in our Milton Keynes office with working from home when appropriate. You do not need to be located close to Milton Keynes in order to apply for this role - we’re just looking for the right person with the right experience. So, you should be able to relax and enjoy inspiring work in an atmosphere which challenges you to use and develop your skills, around people who may become friends not just colleagues. We’re not after a suit-and-tie corporate type. If you’re friendly, driven, and thrive in a relaxed but high-performing environment, we’d love to hear from you. Apply today, and let’s chat!
