Job Summary
Hotel Services are currently looking to recruit two individuals to join a busy department providing portering and cleaning services across various areas. The successful candidates will play an integral role within the organization.
We are seeking Porters to work Monday to Friday with flexibility for shift changes to support service needs. Weekend and bank holiday work will be required.
Main duties include:
* Patient transfers between car park and clinics
* Waste handling
* Responding to health, safety, and security concerns
* Mail distribution and furniture moves
* Checking sanitary areas and cleaning tasks
Full training will be provided, including Moving and Handling, Fire Safety, and Restraint methods.

Qualifications & Knowledge
* Literate and numerate
* Basic knowledge of Health & Safety, COSHH, Moving & Handling, Food Hygiene
Desirable qualifications include general education, Welcome Host, Food Safety Level 2, and additional safety training.
Experience & Skills
* Experience in dealing with the public
* Desirable: portering or care experience, handling difficult persons, cleaning experience
Additional Requirements
* Flexibility to work varied hours
* Valid driver’s license for vehicle operation
Aptitudes & Abilities
* Good communication skills
* Enthusiasm and teamwork
* Initiative and responsibility for keys/security
* Willingness to handle blood and bodily fluids
