This is a 6-month contract to work with the project team and has been assessed as outside IR35.
We are looking for someone with experience in business/data analysis to work directly with stakeholders across the UK (on-site) to understand processes and requirements to create business logic for PowerBI reports.
You will contribute by:
1. Collaborating with business users to interpret requirements into data models and analytical solutions.
2. Facilitating workshops and documenting outcomes, including requirements, functional specifications, design, and data models.
3. Contributing to BI strategy and architecture, ensuring scalable and strategic designs.
4. Developing and optimizing components of the solution for high performance with large data volumes from multiple sources.
5. Administering and governing multiple data sources into Microsoft Fabric to streamline data management and analytics.
6. Utilizing Microsoft Analytics tools for seamless integration and user interface development.
7. Troubleshooting and optimizing SQL queries for data accuracy and performance.
You are best suited for this role if you:
1. Have demonstrable experience with Dynamics F&O (prerequisite).
2. Have strong data and business analysis experience, working with business users to define outcomes and retrofit source data from applications.
3. Possess strong SQL and Power BI skills.
4. Have strong business acumen and experience with Microsoft Azure technologies.
5. Are proficient in data ingestion, integration, transformation, storage, and management.
6. Have experience with data lake/data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
7. Have an understanding of Medallion architecture (nice-to-have).
8. Can manage multiple projects and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
