Care Assistant Care and Support - Clarence Park Care Home Contract: Full Time, Part- Time, Bank Salary: £12.71 Shift Type: Days Contracted hours: Full Time & Bank Clarence Park Residential & Nursing Care Home is a well established service in Weston-super-Mare, located close to the seafront and set within a characterful Victorian townhouse. Supporting up to 43 residents, the home provides high quality nursing, respite and palliative care within a calm, welcoming and team focused environment where staff can build meaningful relationships and make a genuine difference every day. Care Assistant Contract £12.71 per hour Contracted to 36 hours per week Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided and onsite parking 5.6 weeks annual leave (pro rata) Role Overview As a Care Assistant, you will support individuals with a range of complex needs, including advanced dementia, mental health conditions and other long term health challenges. Your role is to provide safe, consistent and person centred care that promotes dignity, independence and wellbeing. Working closely with the wider team, you will follow individual care plans and support structured routines, helping to create a calm, stable and supportive environment. You will build positive relationships with residents, understanding their needs and responding appropriately to changes in behaviour or wellbeing. This is a hands on role that requires patience, resilience and a calm approach, supporting both the physical and emotional needs of residents while ensuring care is delivered safely and consistently at all times.
