The Wellbeing Practitioner will play a key role in supporting the mental health and emotional resilience of children, young people and adults across the Aston Villa Foundation's programmes. Through personalised interventions, the postholder will empower individuals to understand and manage their wellbeing, overcome barriers to personal progress, and build the confidence and skills needed to thrive. Working collaboratively with families, colleagues, and external partners, the practitioner will contribute to a holistic model of support that promotes long-term independence, safeguards those at risk, and enhances the Foundation's commitment to creating healthier, more resilient communities.
The Aston Villa Foundation is seeking a passionate and motivated individual with experience delivering wellbeing interventions and a genuine commitment to making a positive impact through community and charitable work. We’re looking for someone with a recognised qualification in counselling, mental health, youth work, psychology, psychotherapy, social work, or a related field.
The successful candidate will have experience delivering one-to-one and small-group wellbeing or therapeutic interventions with children, young people, or adults and experience conducting assessments and developing personalised support plans. They will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse participants. Additionally they will have the ability to work evenings and occasional weekends where required.
