About this role: This school is seeking a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant for KS1 through KS2. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, Academic Delay, Challenging Behaviour, and other needs, providing extra support within the classroom. You will work alongside the class teacher to ensure students receive the necessary support, promote independence, and encourage social inclusion. Responsibilities include organising and facilitating a stimulating learning environment, collaborating with colleagues, and implementing strategies to support students' emotional and behavioural needs.

Candidate requirements: Experience working with students needing extra classroom support, confidence in teaching the curriculum, planning skills, and familiarity with current curriculum standards. Ability to implement behavioural and emotional management strategies and resourcefulness in supporting students' achievement are essential. Candidates should understand the support needs of students before class to help meet their goals for the term.

Additional Information: Pay rates include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with potential for permanent placement later.
