Are you a patient and dedicated Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant looking for a rewarding 1:1 role in Key Stage 2? Tradewind Recruitment is working with a welcoming two-form entry primary school in St Albans, Hertfordshire, who are seeking a committed Year 5 1:1 TA/LSA to provide tailored support to a pupil from ASAP.

The Role
Full-time 1:1 Teaching Assistant role supporting a pupil in Year 5
Providing individualised academic, social, and emotional support
Supporting the class teacher with classroom routines where appropriate
Helping the pupil stay focused, engaged, and confident in their learning
Implementing strategies and interventions as guided by the SENCo and class teacher
Supporting the child's independence, resilience, and positive behaviour for learning
Contributing to a calm, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
This Role Would Suit
Experienced TAs, LSAs, or Learning Support Practitioners with KS2 experience
Candidates with experience supporting pupils with additional needs (SEND)
Calm, patient, and nurturing individuals who build positive relationships
Those looking for a meaningful 1:1 role within a supportive primary school setting
