As a Finning Engineer, you will: Respond to customer field repair and service requests, providing detailed diagnostics and solutions. Estimate arrival times based on job instructions and customer location. Communicate with site management to register your arrival and adhere to site procedures. Diagnose equipment problems using specialized tools and collaborate with customer operators. Identify required parts for repairs and manage requisitioning and delivery timelines. Perform repair and service work on a variety of Caterpillar engines and generators. Education and Experience:
Valid LDV driving license. Formally trained (NVQ Level 3 preferred) with significant experience as a service engineer or equivalent. Experience with a variety of gas and diesel engines, including generators (both LV and HV). Knowledge:
Proficiency in field-based diagnostic tools and equipment. Experience with assembly and disassembly of diesel engines and components. Familiarity with Caterpillar large engines (e.g., 3400, 3500, 3600 series) and MWM, MAK series. Why Choose Finning?
