Procurement Manager – Energy Infrastructure
An energy developer scaling its UK pipeline across utility-scale infrastructure is hiring a Procurement Manager to lead contractor sourcing and commercial strategy across multiple projects.
This role sits within the project delivery function and carries responsibility for procurement execution across the full project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end procurement across utility-scale energy projects, from strategy through to contract close-out.
* Run competitive tenders for key packages including EPC, balance of plant, grid connection works, and technical services.
* Own commercial negotiations with contractors and suppliers, securing robust contractual and pricing positions.
* Manage contracts post-award, including variations, claims, performance issues, and close-out
* Act as the commercial interface between procurement, engineering, and project management teams.
* Develop and refine procurement strategies, frameworks, and supplier relationships.
* Track market dynamics to inform sourcing strategy and commercial decision-making.
Requirements
* Experience in procurement or commercial roles within energy or infrastructure projects, typically across several project cycles.
* Background in utility-scale project environments.
* Experience leading tenders for EPC or major work packages.
* Strong capability in contract negotiation and post-award contract management.
* Comfortable working cross-functionally with engineering and project teams.
* Experience within a developer, IPP, or EPC environment preferred.
