The role:
* Preparation of Transport Assessments and Transport Statements
* Preparation of Travel Plans and Travel Plan Coordination
* Preparation and presentation of technical data and drawings
* Undertaking junction capacity assessments using ARCADY, PICADY, and LINSIG
* Liaison with clients, contractors, and local/national authorities
* Ensuring timely and budgeted delivery of assigned tasks
* Supporting Team Leaders in providing advice on Highways & Transport matters
* Conducting site appraisals/visits, designing surveys, and contributing to reports and presentations
* Maintaining up-to-date electronic and paper project files
* Assisting with other traffic/transport tasks as required
What you need to succeed:
* Degree in Transport Planning, Geography, Civil Engineering or related field
* Knowledge of UK Transport Planning standards and processes
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Good numeracy skills and spreadsheet understanding
* AutoCAD skills (desirable)
* Experience with ARCADY, PICADY, and LINSIG
* Strong analytical and communication skills
* Ability to work accurately with numbers
* Effective written and verbal communication
* Problem-solving and interpersonal skills
* Self-motivated with good workload management
* Professional and approachable demeanor
