What you will do
* Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic intervention for children with SEMH needs
* Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to support students effectively
* Develop and implement individualised support plans based on the latest evidence and practice
* Engage with families, carers, and other professionals to ensure holistic care
* Mentor and support junior staff and students as required
* Stay updated on the latest research and strategies in speech and language therapy
Responsibilities
* Demonstrate expert‑level knowledge and skills with children with complex communication profiles
* Participate in professional development training related to neurodiversity and trauma‑informed practice
* Communicate effectively with families and carers to ensure clarity and transparency
* Utilise comprehensive assessment tools to inform practice and interventions
* Understand relevant legislation and manage it professionally
Requirements
* HCPC registration is essential
* Hold a full, valid UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle for travel
